Cadets
Boys Grade 3-6
Every Tuesday from 6:45 - 8:15pm in the church
The Cadets program is geared towards boys aged 7-14, providing opportunities for children to become more involved in the life and work of the church. The Cadets ministry focuses upon the reality that these young people are growing and that this growth can be aided and assisted. In addition there is a strong belief that the youth play a strong part of their own growth and development.
Dedicated to bringing boys into a living relationship with their Lord and Savior, holding onto the promise that the Lord will bless the prayers, example, and instruction of Christian men - His vessels in His kingdom.
The cadeting ministry encourages learning the skills of and participating in the activities of the outdoorsman. Experiencing the presence of the Lord in His glorious creation builds a boy’s character, and being a faithful steward of His world is an important lesson to be learned.
The program is largely focused upon a badge system where Cadets earn badges upon the completion of a wide variety of activities and programs that measure their growth. There is growth spiritually through Bible studies, intellectually through craft creation, socially through recreation activities, as well as intergroup gatherings.

GEMS
Girls Grade 3-6
Every Tuesday from 6:45 - 8:15pm in the church
GEMS Girls’ Clubs is a relationship building, club program created especially for girls and offered through local churches. Girls in first through eighth or ninth grades are eligible for membership in a club. Games, crafts, singing, learning important life skills through badge work, discussing Bible stories and learning how to apply these teachings to life, as well as discovering solutions to many of the challenges that face girls today, are all a part of the club experience.
The purpose of GEMS Girls’ Clubs is to bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. To foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, additional relationships are nurtured as well between the girl and her counselor (leader) and the girl and other club members. All of these relationships are effectively established and strengthened in clubs through the use of caring, supportive, and fun small groups.
The name GEMS Girls’ Clubs is an acronym which stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. It very clearly identifies the purpose for which the ministry was created.
Visit the official GEMS website for more information.
